755nm Alexandrite: The gold standard for lighter skin types (Fitzpatrick I–III). Fast, powerful, and highly effective at targeting the melanin in hair follicles.
1064nm Nd:YAG: The safest and most effective wavelength for darker skin types (Fitzpatrick IV–VI). It bypasses the melanin in the skin’s surface and targets the hair follicle directly, dramatically reducing the risk of burns, hyperpigmentation, or hypopigmentation that older lasers posed for darker-skinned patients.
IntelliTrak™ Real-Time Tracking
This isn’t a marketing buzzword, it’s a genuine technological breakthrough. IntelliTrak uses real-time motion tracking to ensure the laser delivers energy uniformly across the treatment area, regardless of how fast or slowly the handpiece moves. The result: no missed spots, no overlapping (which causes discomfort), and consistently thorough treatment.
Intelligent Cooling Device (ICD)
A built-in cooling system that delivers temperature-controlled air to the skin before, during, and after each laser pulse. Because the Nd:YAG wavelength can safely treat tanned skin, Clarity II® allows hair removal treatments even during summer months, when older systems required patients to avoid sun exposure entirely. (Sun protection is still recommended, but treatment doesn’t have to stop.)

Your Laser Hair Removal Experience
Step 1: Consultation
A trained team member assesses your skin type (Fitzpatrick scale), hair color and density, medical history, and treatment goals. The appropriate wavelength (Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, or both) is selected for your specific skin and hair combination.
Step 2: Preparation
The treatment area is shaved (you’ll be asked to shave 24 hours before your appointment). No waxing, plucking, or threading for 4–6 weeks prior, the hair root must be present for the laser to target it. The area is cleaned, and protective eyewear is provided.
Step 3: Treatment
The Clarity II® handpiece is applied to the skin. The ICD cooling activates immediately, providing continuous comfort. IntelliTrak guides the treatment for uniform coverage. Most patients describe the sensation as a quick, warm snap, much more comfortable than waxing.
Step 4: Aftercare
Mild redness and warmth (like a mild sunburn) may occur for a few hours. Cooling gel or aloe may be applied. You can return to normal activities immediately. Sunscreen is recommended on treated areas. Treated hair will shed over the following 1–3 weeks.
Step 5: Repeat
Hair grows in cycles. Laser hair removal is most effective during the active growth phase (anagen). Multiple sessions, typically 6–8, spaced 4–8 weeks apart, are needed to catch all follicles in their growth cycle for optimal, long-lasting results.
